Erinnerungsschnipsel
Bei DW habe ich gerade ein Zitat gefunden, das mir gut gefällt: I’m delighted when I buy an old book and some long forgotten piece of paper falls from between the pages. I’ve found airline tickets and advertisements, grocery lists and greeting cards. In return, I make it a point of tucking keepsakes into whatever I’m reading at the time, like when I was re-reading the collected stories of Paul Bowles and heard that he had just died. I clipped several of the obituaries, slid them into the back cover, and sold it to the used book store. Will someone be annoyed when they find my Return of the King ticket stub in that Martin Amis book, or will they smile for a moment, touching the life of one of the book’s previous readers? ...
