delicious in Chrome benutzen
Das größte Manko an Chrome ist für mich das Fehlen einer addon- oder plugin-Architektur, und damit das fehlen von zusätzlicher Funktionalität wie z.B. ganz konkret den Delicious Bookmarks von Yahoo! Inc.
Für das Hinzufügen eines neuen bookmarks kann man sich wunderbar mit dem bookmarklet behelfen, aber die Suche in den bookmarks gilt es noch zu ermöglichen. Im Google Chrome-Forum bin ich auf einen guten Tipp gestossen:
Man fügt sich in den Einstellungen einen Suchmaschineneintrag hinzu:
Here is a simple work around which uses chrome’s very nice multi-tasking address bar;
- As mentioned in many other posts, use the bookmarklet to add bookmarks
- Add your own delicious account as a custom search engine entry in “Edit search engines…”
To do this add a new engine into the “Default search options” list with the following parameters
Name: “search my delicious” (or whatever you want)
Keyword: d (just type “d”, then whatever you want to search your delicious bookmarks for)
URL: http://delicious.com/search?context=userposts&p=%s&lc=1&u=[your username without the brackets]Then just use chrome’s lovely address bar to search your own delicious bookmarks by starting each request with “d”
For example, to search your bookmarks for everything on ham, type “d ham” into the address bar.
It seems to work very nicely now that delicious mk2 has such a streamlined and useful web interface.
