screenshots ohne Hintergrund

Brent Simmons, der Autor von NetNewsWire, hat einen Tipp, wie man screenshots machen kann, ohne dass der Desktophintergrund störend hinter der Anwendung liegt:
When you go to post a screenshot of an application, and you don’t want your desktop background in the screenshot — when you want a white background, that is — just create an empty folder in the Finder, make the folder really big, then bring the app to the front so that the background is the white of that empty folder.
Nachtrag: Andreas Franken hat seine Tastenkombinationen gelernt: Command+Shift+4, anschließend die Leertaste — so macht man einen screenshot vom angeklickten Fenster, ohne den Hintergrund! Es gibt wirklich für alles und jedes eine einfachere Lösung.
Hehe, ein paar Jahre als Redakteur einer Computerzeitschrift kenne ich das Problem nur zu gut. Allerdings ist das nicht der einzige Weg, ich nehm meistens ein Fenster von TextEdit, stelle das auf Plain Text um und ziehe es riesig. Et voilá, auch kein Hintergrund :-)
Und Deutsch kann ich trotzdem nicht ;-)
Empfehlung: ImageWell (Freeware) ist hervorragend für Screenshots.
